VOLUNTEER

At HopeNow, volunteers are a huge part of our mission to help serve families in need.  In many ways, volunteers are the heartbeat of HopeNow Furniture Bank. They have many roles. 

Volunteers

Volunteers: 

  • Sort and organize items at the warehouse
  • Assist clients
  • Distribute promotional materials
  • Assist with community outreach
  • Assist with planning, preparations and execution of special events and fundraisers
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks (with a forklift if certified to do so)
  • Assemble and or paint furniture from pre-cut material
  • Repair slightly damaged furniture, cleaning and polishing
  • Sweeping, dusting and cleaning at the warehouse
  • Serve on the Board
  • Work in the warehouse woodshop
